White Yellow Corn

Corn (also known as Maize) is a cereal grain, generally categorized into two broad groups: yellow maize and white maize, depending on their colour and taste.

White and Yellow maize constitutes the bulk of world production and international trade. It is grown in northern hemisphere countries where it is traditionally used for animal feed. Yellow corn is a significant resource of Vitamin A. In addition, it has a wide range of industrial applications, including the production of ethanol.

White corn is the corn used for masa for tortillas and most human consumption and it’s much more expensive than yellow corn.

99 percent of corn grown is “Field Corn”. Field corn is the classic big ears of yellow dented corn you see dried and harvested in the fall. It’s called “dent corn” because of the distinctive dent that forms on the kernel as the corn dries.

Corn for sale is a high-energy feed that contains a lot of carbohydrate. It is one of the commonly used grains for supplying energy to beef cattle diets.
